An intriguing story of an evangelical Christian Pastor and his wife who in exploring the roots of their faith and their search for the truth arrive at the doorsteps of Judaism. Starting in 1987 as co pastor in an evangelical Christian church they began their journey when they attempted to understand doctrinal discrepancies and the roots of their faith, Judaism. In 1992 they became pastors of their own church in the middle of the so called Bible belt in the center of the states. With so many questions un-answered and no one to turn to, they search the Bible Chumash (Torah) for answers. The plot thickens as the congregation begins to keep Shabbat and major doctrinal discrepancies are revealed. From challenges to threats until the closing of their church and their conversion to Judaism, come hear the awesome and inspiring behind the scenes story complete with many challenging and funny moments. Yaakov Ephraim and Sarah Devorah Parisi (their new Jewish names) are now Torah Observant Jews since 1998. They are making their story public for the first time since their conversion. They were told by their rabbis that now is the time to tell their story of commitment and self sacrafice in order to inspire all Jews to increase their commitment to yiddishkeit.

Yaakov Ephraim was learning in many places, and in his search for meaning , the most rewarding institution he came upon was in Morristown, New Jersey (Tiferes Bachurim at the R.C.A. ). Thier teachers, acedemics and overall enviornment challeged his mind and warmed his soul. They also made aliyah to Israel in 1992, where they will return at the completion of the program, G-d willing.
